Dementia or Parkinson’s?

We soon discovered that it’s difficult to convey these two diseases to exhibitions. We had a lot of sketching, brainstorming and discussion around the two and finally concluded that we felt dementia was the one we wanted to work with. One of the reasons was that this is a disease that many can relate to, there are many who know or did know someone with dementia. There are different types of dementia but we decided we wanted to concentrate on Alzheimer’s, since this is the most common one. There are an increasing number of people with Alzheimer’s and though the scientists don’t know excactly why, people living longer is for sure one of the reasons.
